Metric meanings in plain English

Overall suitability score: blended indicator combining quality context, affordability context, and staffing pressure.
School quality context (ICSEA): social-educational profile index; higher values often indicate stronger learning context.
Affordability percentile: higher values indicate more budget-friendly housing context around the school.
Class size pressure: students per teacher; lower values can indicate more teacher capacity per student.
SA2: ABS Statistical Area Level 2, a standard neighbourhood-sized region for local statistics.

Scoring model

The overall suitability score combines school quality context (ICSEA), housing affordability context (SA2 housing burden), and teaching-capacity proxy (inverse student-teacher ratio). It is designed for comparison, not as a single final decision.
